Experimentation Exceptance >:0
I wanted to keep my website as close to the old web, and I feared messing with the layout and scheme could wind up ruining the design I already got going for it. I've been making plenty of "burner webpages" just for the fun of it, playing around with CSS and expermintation with all the different types of navagation I could make, ect ect. There came a point where burnout for big site changes came in, and I couldn't find the next thing to work on the site, but I knew there was more to do, as there is always more to do when it comes to my site, but figuring out what I wanted to do next was the hardest part. I want my site to be a experimental creative outlet!
Not much is going to change, but expect more updates to come faster than before! I can't believe I have 14,661(at the time of writing) visitors now!! I never could've imagined getting such traffic, whilst I know probably majority of it is bots and spiders, it brings such joy and excitement, but now I gotta figure out how to get more engagement! I seek human interaction! Prob gonna add comment boxes and a RSS feed soon.
Inconsistent Weather!
Talking about the weather today because I totally have nothing better to say. Wake up early morning, walk outside. Shiver. Go back inside. Put on warm clothes. Three hours later; sweat like crazy and wind up carrying my hoodie for the rest of the day because it's far too hot to wear. Repeat.
I'd like to blame the melting ice caps for this but I hardly think that's it. The most likely thing is that I'm becoming more aware of the temperature and my surroundings so now it bugs me... wait... I did do something!
Spooky Month Is Over!
The best month is over! Spooky Month 2025 was amazing and I'm excited for the next one! I'll be sure to upload plenty from the next spooky season. Even though the Halloween is over, autumn is not! I love the fall and the vibe that comes with it. Easily my favorite time of the year. So don't put away your pumpkins yet! And you need more Pumpkin Spice Latte!!
Transitional Times
I just love dawn and dusk. I probably like dawn more, as I often rarely see people, and it's just me. It bleeds liminality into the insipid, and thats what I thrive for. I often seek liminality, an obsession by choice, and I seek any place or time where I can find it. Dead malls are great locations that often have liminality, but its often surface level. Dawn, really touches me in a seperate way. Picture, waking up early, no alarm, just wakefulness, going to the kitchen, pouring coffee, and watching the shifting lights outside, with only the hum of the air conditioner to accompany you. This raw yet simple concept put me in such a peaceful state of mind. Honestly, things have been rough lately, but following these silly passions really do help keep a grip on things. I digress, transitional points of time are swag, and we only have so many!
